Ministerial visit to the Jacquet plant in Saint-Beauzire
On Monday January 6, we were delighted to welcome Marc FERRACCI, the French Minister for Industry and Energy, to our Jacquet plant in Saint-Beauzire (France).
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss strategic issues such as food sovereignty, the competitiveness of French players on the international stage, and our commitments to nutrition and environmental responsibility.
On this occasion, Sébastien CHAUFFAUT and Sébastien VIDAL presented the strengths and specificities of Jacquet Brossard and Groupe Limagrain:
- 100% of the flour used by the Saint-Beauzire plant comes from wheat grown by members of the Limagrain cooperative, guaranteeing a short circuit.
- A committed plant: With its 208 employees working in 3x8 shifts, it produces sandwich loaves, buns for burgers, and breakfast sandwiches.
- Responsible products:
95% of Jacquet breads have a Nutriscore A or B.
100% of sandwich loaves are guaranteed to contain no added sugar.
- Responsible Water Use Plan (PURE): An ambitious program to reduce our water consumption.
The Minister was accompanied by several local elected representatives, including the President of the Departmental Council, as well as union representatives and senior management.
This meeting marks a fine recognition of our role in food sovereignty and the competitiveness of French industry.
