Our seed activities

For nearly 60 years, we have been developing an innovative and responsible range of seed varieties designed to improve the crop and vegetable yields of farmers, vegetable growers, and amateur gardeners all over the world.

Our clients are farmers (grain producers) and market gardeners (vegetable growing and processing).

  • Creating plant varieties
    Creating plant varietiesWe look for the characteristics in plant genes that will improve their yields, disease and pest resistance, flavor, and nutritional qualities.
  • Producing seeds
    Producing seedsWe work with our members, our production farms, and seed multipliers to produce seeds in different regions around the world.
  • Selling seeds
    Selling seedsWe package and sell field seeds (corn, wheat, sunflower, rapeseed, etc.) and vegetable seeds (tomatoes, carrots, melons, green beans, cauliflower, etc.).

Our agri-food chain activities

Drawing on our expertise in multi-crop seed breeding, we have built agri-food chains (wheat, corn, new crops) in our home region to add value to our cooperative members’ produce and help ensure a lasting future for their farms.

Our customers are food manufacturers (flaking grits for corn flakes, semolina and flours for baby food, flours for prepared meals, etc.), mass market retailers and industrials (who sell both our own brands and white label brands).
